OP, users with an electronic trans with od, would still need the 4l60e/4l80e harness PART# 558-405 to work with this kit yes?

Yes you would still need that harness and you would need a Dominator ECU - the HP ECU is not capable of controlling the trans.

Nope - it was used with the Holley HP EFI system, so no separate controller.
