Premium Description:
It’s time. After 8 years of ownership it’s time to say goodbye the GTO. This is harder than I thought, but the family is growing, and I’m in need of a sedan (Maybe a Vagon…mmmm). Totally honest, this is the best car I’ve ever owned. It was solid as a rock mechanically, and a peach to work on. I have no doubts or hesitations that the next owner will think the same thing.
Engine
- Insulated Vararam intake
- 1 ¾ Stainless Works Longtube headers
- Corsa Touring Cat-back
- Speed Inc. Tune (384/381)
- Relocated ECM to lower driver kick panel

- 35% 3M Tint on everything but the windshield (I hate eyebrows)
- OEM HSV Badge on Trunk lid
- Filled and Matte Black Painted Lower Rear Valence
- Depo Taillights w/ Clear Turn Signal Bulbs
- Clear front Turn Signal Bulbs
- 6k HID Retrofit Headlights
Interior
- Bohnman AUX input in the lower righthand mounting hole (very stealth)
- Modified Instrument cluster w/Audible and Visual Shift Light set to 6k RPM
- SCSS Color Matched Oil Pressure and Voltage Center Gauge Pod
- Traction Control Chimp (Automatically defaults TC to off on start up)
Major Maintenance Records
This is honestly all the major stuff I’ve done to her. Other than tires and oil changes (which I also have records of), this is it. She is seriously a rock solid car.
- 10/11 50,838 miles
Differential fluid replaced with Torco Race Fluid
- 9/12 58,012 miles
LS7 Clutch/Pressure Plate Installed
Slave Cylinder Replaced
Pilot bearing Replaced
Transmission Torn Down and Inspected
New Reverse Gear
New Reverse Synco
Remote Bleeder Installed
Transmission Fluid Replaced with Mobil 1 Synthetic
Rear Main Seal Plate replaced
As it sits, it’s an awesome DD, and I haven’t had the heart to mess that up. She sounds wonderful, gets looks all over and is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. If you want more, she’s ready for whatever you want to throw at her, bigger cam, forced induction, or auto x.
The Bad
- She used to be a show winning car with perfect paint. While she still looks great, she’s a great 5 footer. I’m meticulous with Adams and Chemical Guys products, but after 8 years of DD duty, she’s showing her age a little. She looks wonderful, but I wouldn’t enter her in any shows.
-At the time of the clutch install, the rear main seal plate was replaced. It never leaked, it was just preventative. It now leaks…bugs the hell out of me, I’m just not willing to go through all that trouble for 1 drop of oil a night.
- The tint on the rear window has a bit of orange peel to it. I thought about getting it redone, but again, it never really bothered me enough
On to the good part!

I have a Blackstone Oil Test on the way. I'll have the results of it up as soon as i get it. Though I'm sure it's fine, and felt comfortable enough posting without the test in hand.

Welp, that's the last price drop folks. At $15.5k I'm uncomfortable, but will let her go to someone who will care for it.
I'm happy to let her sit and take her out on really nice days and enjoy. She's too good of car to just give away to some boy racer.
If you're looking for a solid, M6 car that has been meticulously cared for, here she is. I'll be sure to bump the thread every now and then until she sells.
