LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Up for sale is my 2000 Camaro SS. I bought the car in October of 2004 with 34,XXX miles. I have been the only driver of the car since then. The car is in great shape, it just needs a new home. I have two little girls that occupy most of my time and the car just basically sits in the garage and hardly gets driven. It was my daily driver for one year before I purchased a truck, and the car became a weekend cruiser. It has been garaged the entire time I have owned it. The paint has very few flaws and is an 8.5 out of 10. The interior is also in great condition with no tears in the factory ebony leather. There are a few dark spots in the carpet. I give the interior a 7.5 out of 10. It is paid for and does not have to sell. It costs me nothing to sit in the garage, so please no low ball offers. Serious inquiries only. No joy rides.

Car has a speed density tune and has always been tuned by John Weeks in Pensacola, FL.

The car will be sold as is. It has no spare tire, no back seat, no air conditioner, no windshield wipers, no wiper fluid reservoir, and no front or rear bumper supports. The car does not get driven much, has been raced but not beat on or ragged. I am a very meticulous/neat freak/OCD kind of person. It has not seen rain since 2006 and has only been to the track a couple of times in the past couple of years. It has been a 6.79 and a 6.81 in the 1/8 with a passenger and very little tuning to the suspension.

It has ONE mechanical issue. The transmission will not shift to 4th gear. I don't know why. It has been like this for about three years now with no other issues. My transmission guy has been inside of it twice (all bands, clutches, and servo has been inspected and/or replaced). He says everything in it looks perfect. I have also just put the Circle D converter in it thinking that the old converter may have been the problem. This did not fix the problem. With that being said, the Circle D is near new, still with one free restall. The transmission runs cool, doesn't slip, has a manual valve body and drives fine and pulls hard from 1st thru 3rd, just like a turbo 350.

Once again, I do not have to sell and there is A LOT of car here for the price. I will accept offers for trades, but I am not looking to boot any money. Feel free to shoot me any reasonable trade offers but I do not need another vehicle with two doors. I am interested in TBSS and G8 type vehicles, or possibly a nice 4 seater RZR 1000 that hasn't been abused.

Thanks,
Brent

Thanks for the compliment. It is definitely a fun car, just not practical for the family.

I'm located in Meridian. I do not have the other converter. It was a yank ss4000. The only extra parts that come with the car have been listed above. I can get pics of motor and under the car. I will post them as soon as I have a chance to get some. Thanks

EDIT:
I do have an lt1 steel driveshaft that was in the car before the PST. It is painted red and can be included in sale as well.

Put 12 miles on it yesterday. Took it to the shop, and got some engine and underneath pics. Added more pics to the original post. I updated the mileage in the original post also. And this pic was before it went back in last night.

Also, just an fyi for those of you concerned in the transmission issue: while driving it to and from the shop last night, I noticed that if I shift to 4th while coasting on flat or down a hill, that it will shift out. As soon as I give it a little gas and put it under a load, it goes back to 3rd. It has a vacuum modulated valve body and I'm starting to wonder if it may be a vacuum related issue.
