We will not have a sale on these. This price is as low as we can go with all the extra options that come standard.

Mine fit great. Back braced, 35 spline, stock width, 5/8 studs, Strange actually dual drilled the flanges for 5/8 studs and stock .509 knurl. My rear was nearly dead centered when swapping in the new rear from the stock unit that was centered previously. Same deal on front to back location. It did come with the center section studs already pressed in, however just for myself I swapped to ARP. There was nothing wrong with the studs in it and he was straight foward that they were Dorman brand. I did also add T-bolts to the order. The swaybar mounts are included as well and on the money compared to stock spacing. I did add 2 tabs for the hard brake lines and welded one nut for the brake line bracket. Here is my thread, I need some updated installed pics: https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axl...y-got-9-a.html

The gentlemen that runs the company was exceptional to deal with. Always answered the phone and was pleasant answering questions. Very nice piece. Great packaging and turn around time. I would absolutely deal with this company again.

So a center section is really all that's needed to complete the rear end, correct? I assume you can use your existing brake lines if you choose to?

Drive shaft will need to be longer if anything. Unless you use a long yoke on the 9 inch 3rd member.

Correct if using a PG/TB400 longer.

6 speed will require shorter.

Either way will require modification to driveshaft. Not trying to Discourage anyone, rather just educating on what is required to make the changeover as painless as possible.

Why would a manual transmission take a shorter driveshaft when the 4l60e and manual use the same shaft and a 4l60e I know needs a longer shaft by one inch.

A quality driveshaft and trans yolk is highly recommended. We can get you this from Strange Engineering to complete your 9" install.
