I am selling a used HP Tuners interface that I just recently purchased through another local forum. I want to be as up-front as possible about this unit so here are a few things to keep in mind. This is an older interface module that includes the serial cable to OBD2 plug, and a serial cable to connect to your computer. If you do not have a serial port on your computer, you will need to also buy a serial to USB adapter to use this interface (usually $20 - $40, depending on the brand). Upon purchase of this unit, you will send an email to HP Tuners with its respective serial number to receive access to download the latest tuning software (ie VCM Suite v 2.22). This particular interface module comes with full year licenses for 98, 99, and 2002 F Bodies. I would also like to point out that I have spoken with HP Tuners and this module IS NOT eligible to receive any additional credits due to it being an older version interface. Therefore, if you do not own a 98, 99, or 02 F body this module will not work for your vehicle! and that is why I am selling it (I have an 01 ).. No, it has licensing for 98, 99, and 02 F bodies. It is just not eligible to upgrade for any other years, i.e. 00, and 01

 

Could you elaborate on what you mean by full year licenses?

 

It means that you can tune any 98,99, or 02 f-body with out having to purchase credits

I know. I've been flirting around with getting one of these for awhile. I knew hanging on to that old lap-top with a serial port was a smart move. Finally my hoarding ways paid off for something.
