My drag back from paint!
What do you guys think? The car was black. I already have a black SS so I choose to change the color. I went with Son of a Gun Gray Metallic. Front bumper cover is not bolted be the way. I just hung it on to get it home. Didnt want it getting scuffed on back of the truck. Some guys would probably see gaps around headlights.

Yeah that's why I wanted a color like this. Dont see it on a fbody. Well I never seen a fbody this color. I'll post more and better pics when I get the rear panel done and all the lights in. The hood I found on ebay. Its a Sunoco look a like. I love it and I love the price too. No one bidded on it and I got it for $255 shipped.

Swamp WS6: I went around and got 3 quotes for a paint job and they where $2000-$3000. I thought a while on it and decided not to put that much money in the paint. Hell this 427 is already blowing my budget. And if a got a perfect paint job I would be sooo picky with the car. So I took it to Maaco and got the Polyurethane paint with a 3 yr war. It was $700, but and extra $200 for the door jams since I did a color change. So $900. Not bad at all for new paint in my opinion. And the car will be garage kept. Im happy with it.

No I didnt do any prep. I just removed the front and rear bumper covers and all the lights so they could spay it really good. Trust me its not perfect. If you get up on it you can nick-pick it. It has minor flaws where the fiberglass needed body filler. They just sanded it and painted it. But like I said I didnt want it perfect. I'd be way too picky with it. I want to just take it to the track and have fun. Over all and for the price its a really nice paint job though.

Did you have any problems with that hood fitment? I found one of the same on ebay and I cannot get one side to sit down flush with the fender. I've adjusted all I can on the latch
