So Who Has Done The Swap?
I have a SBC in my 97 SS, and I know Brady has done a few SBC/BBC swaps into his rides. I'm sure there are other out there though. Lets see pics of these bad rides. I'll post first since I started it.

i pm'ed you once a while back, but no response, and not upset either. just wondering if you have a relative that owns Fast Times in the Chicago area? that's who built the motor i'm buying. forgot to mention that when i met you the day you were packing for Thunder.
later,
Dave

Im doing one this winter, should be a all forged 355 nitrous motor..
Gunna run a crab cap with a crank trigger on it just to make sure I have enough clearance.
-Nick what distributor did you run on yours?Because I really am trying to cut the least amount possible out of the cowl and it looks like you did just that.
Heres a pic of the Lt1 Out of the car..

If you run a crab cap, you wont have to cut anything for the distributor. You may have to do a little minor clearancing for the throttle body, quite a bit if you run a carb..

I will post some pics, but I removed a good majority of the cowl.

Ok so where does the air cleaner go!?!?! I wsa thinkin cowl hood with some weird air cleaner tucked in there and some duct work to the carb so the air is filtered before it comes under the hood, but does anyone else know?

I'm trying to decide which longtube headers to go with.. What kind did all of you guys use? I'm guessing that I can just buy LT1 headers and use them without any problems right? Or am I gonna run into problems with the ports being partially blocked or anything like that?
