Default new 9inch for sale

I have a new 9inch for sale for 4th gen. It has a nodular case.

Moser housing
4.11 Motive gears
Tru-Trac diff
1350 Spicer Forged Yoke
Moser F-body Cast Torque Arm Mount - STRONG!
31 spline axles
new axle bearings
New 4 Channel ABS / TCS Exciter Rings Installed
fill plug
drain plug
Shortened 2.5inch on each side

I bought new over the winter. But I am going with a different mid section which will require different spline axles. And figured it would be hard to just sell the mid section and axles without the housing.

$2,300 firm

I think that width is a direct fit for 3rd gen cars - might want to explore that selling forum...nice deal

It is 2 inches longer on each side. But anybody running 4th gen, or corvette wheels will be able to run it without having to run spacers on their previous rear.

Can you measure if from axle flange to axle flange for me. This might be just what I need for my IROC plus I am within driving distance to you.

I'll have to measure it. I'll do it tonight.

it is not sold yet.

And it will fit in a 4th gen with no problem. All the shock and spring mounts are where they are needed. You would just have to run a different back spacing for your wheels.

Default Mid-section

would you considered selling your rear-end in parts, i am interested in the mid section, as i don't think the shortened axles would work for my application , was this for a tubbed out car. thanx

I am not interested in selling the mid section alone. i would sell the midsection with the axles though. Otherwise I don't see myself being able to sell the axles.

This was not for a tubbed car. It would work on 4th gens without a problem, as lond as they had the correct back spacing on the wheels

Just some input to help you sell - i had a 2.5" narrowed on each side 9" in my t/a. It allowed normal backspace wheels for drag, and for street i ran 17x11 grand sport wheels with a 2" spacer, they looked perfect. I have pics if it would help anyone visualize the axle in the car.
