Exclamation FS cheap ls1 ported heads & 224r cam flows 328/239 cfm better then AFR!

I have a set of used but extremely nice ported ls1 heads/camshaft combo.
heads are custom stage 3 patriot performance exclusively done by gunner.
5.3L heads. Larger valves everything reworked. Flow 328/239 @ .600 lift.
Will continue to flow niceliy above 600 lift, I do not have the numbers for that handy though. I will supply photos tonight when i take them. both the heads and cam are ready to bolt up. a few of the valves on the heads have slight dings on the top of the valves due to rocker arms slightly loose. Comes with brand new valves to replace those if desired.
I bought these from a friend that had them on his car. He is on this board..
His car made 460+ RWHP through just a slightly larger camshaft. It made more on a extreme tune done at norris motorsports...
I bought this cam because I wanted a slightly more streetable setup that was going to be on an automatic ls1 car.

camshaft is a used thunder racing 224/224 R model .581/581 on 112 lsa. *sold*

Patriot sells stg 2 5.3 L heads new complete for 1300 $ alone. Those heads flow 30 CFM less then these custom made heads !!!! THESE ARE REWORKED TO A STAGE 3 HEAD.

https://www.patriot-performance.com/...ome.php?cat=36

these heads OUTFLOW both AFR 205 and 225cc heads that sell for well over 2,400.00 $$ alone.

1400$ for the heads + shipping - back available.
225 $ for the camshaft + shipping. ** SOLD **

beavis

here is a flow sheet for the heads.

.100 79cfm
68 cfm

.200 148 cfm
124 cfm

.300 209 cfm
168 cfm

.400 257 cfm
209 cfm

.500 299 cfm
231 cfm

.550 317 cfm
235 cfm

.600 328 cfm
239 cfm

I may seperate if desired. Heads as far as I know are not milled any.

No heads are not new but in great shape. No i will not take 1,000 for the combo or for the heads alone. I would be loosing my shirt.

If you read the desc. closely, the top of 3 valves have slight dings at them from rocker arms being a little bit loose. I have brand new fererra valves that I will give to the buyer if they prefer to change them. These heads outflow comparing 225cc AFR and are about 1/2 the price. Also the valvetrain is PP GOLD doubles that are good to .650 lift as well.

no cam that was in the car was similiar , i believe it was 230-236 area. Cam was just around .600 lift. So it made a little more thent his would, but this cam is a .581 .581 lift. Would make great power in the entire powerband and would still leave low end power. It was going to be in a automatic car with a 3200 converter that is why i chose this camshaft. My friend ran his car with the same exact cam, small converter and has afr 205 heads. That car on a 100 nx wet kit ran 10's. My heads flow better and i would have made a little bit more power then his setup. hope that helps some.

I would think this setup on a good tune would break 440rwhp with the same type of exhaust that i was going to put on it. also it is up for sale as well here on ls1 tech.

it consisted of 1 7/8 stepped long tube headers to a 3.5 " off road y pipe and 3.5 " single exhaust system all the way back. GREAT flowing exhaust.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/860963-ls1-full-exhaust-1-7-8-lt-headers-tip-fs-3-5-1-piece-no-welding-600-a.html

if anyone is interested in checking it out. i would sell the heads/cam/and full exhaust to someone for 2000$ out the door for everything

I would prefer you send me an offer. It is only worth as much as someone will pay. And what it is worth to them. Depends on if you want the heads alone, the cam alone, or both heads/cam together. If someone wants both head and cam i will cut them a break.

stg 3 heads usually are 63cc / 220cc/ 2.02 / 1.57 valves.
I am not 100% of the exact numbers to the T on these heads.
But i believe they are either 62 or 63cc / 220cc / 2.05 / 1.60 valves
I know the combustion chamber is smaller then stock so it will raise compression slightly.
YES IT WILL WORK ON STOCK BOTTOM END NO NEED TO FLY CUT
if you are worried run a slightly larger head gasket or clay it to make sure.
It does have larger valves then standard stg 2/3 heads since they were reworked.
sorry i dont remember the exact details i have had them for a while ...

sevanseriesTA has dibs on the heads. If our deal falls through they will be back on the market. Hope that clears things up a tad.
