Would have been an 11.8x pass, but I killed 10mph on the brakes.

Also my 1991 S10. 383 stroker, Powerglide and 9" rear with Moser center section, axles and spool. Ran a best of 10.43 at 126 first time out. Haven't used the 175shot yet. I have a throttle stop to slow it down right now since I don't have a cage yet.

Finished up my project a few years ago and still do some tinkering wit it now and then. Ditched the junk digital 6 al ignition box for a standard MSD 6 aln when I started having issues with the car starting, Its been a blast to drive and cant wait till next summer so I can drive it. Next up is a 6 or 8 point roll cage and some 5 point Harnesses. Let me know what you guys think!!

Default LS 67 Chevelle

Getting ready to start on my LS powered (LQ4) Red 1967 Chevy Chevelle. If anybody has any knowledge on transmission swaps with T56 that would be lovely. I understand motors for some reason and do not understand transmissions, how they operate. I am scowering the web and will figure out as much as possible. Found out through this site that I can use an LT1 style T56 and change out a few minor parts in order to make it LS compatible. Just curious about things like hydraulic clutch cylinders, forks, and things of that nature. If there is a link, I will do my own research. Otherwise, thank you for reading about my project and hope to see you guys/gals on the road...

Super excited and reading what you guys post is the only thing I've been doing lately. I try to learn as much as possible so I can make less costly mistakes Lol.

Get my car back from the shipper (motor blew in Kansas on my way from Michigan to Arizona) at the end of this month. Will take lots of pics and try to document as much as possible since I have tons of time to get these things finished.

Picked up an '81 El Camino. I'm just doing a mild 355 with a FiTech fuel injection system and a 2004R behind it.

The 355 will have a Crane 2032 camshaft, Vortec heads, and LS6 springs. Nice and simple for street cruising.

Building a 72 Chevelle wagon with an L29 7.4L and 4L80E. Swapped from the truck ECM to an 0411 ECM and have the engine running well, but the car is still being assembled after a year in paint jail. Should be on the road by the end of this month.

Screw the LS swap, you've got a nice setup. Let me know if you ever wanna sell that mini blower. I've been fantasizing about one for my 68 Suburban.

Default Sbc 355

I have a sbc thats .030 over bore. It has hydraulic lifters, flat tappet cam and roller tip rockers. It came stock with a .041 gasket thickness. And already have pushrods for that thickness but is it possible to go to a .036 gasket to get a better quench with the same pushrods or do I have to remeasure pushrod length. And would it make a big enough difference in motor efficiency to worry about going through the trouble of measuring for new pushrods??
