Default can I use 1.6 rocker arms?

If the heads specs says 520 is the max lift and my cam is 515 can I use 1.6 rockers?
If I did my actual lift will be about 550" can I do this without upgrading the springs?
the heads are dart pro 1

also my combo will be like this
388 10.7:1 compression
dart pro 1 heads
lunati flat tappet cam 515 lift 446 duration @0.05 .cam range(2500-6000)
performer RPM air gap intake
holley 750 DP
intake 2" spacer
150hp nos shot
th350 trans
ford 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gear

how much stall I need?

If your springs are only good to .520", then no you can't run 1.6 rockers without upgrading valvesprings. You'll need springs good to ~.575" lift.

your spring will not handle that much lift, so it will better to replace them

The other thing that you need to measure is your valve spring installed height before looking for a cheap spring.

More than likely they have a 1.85" installed height on them. If you have a caliper you could check that out in just a few seconds. Take your caliper and put the flat of your slide on the edge of the valve spring and then run the middle of the slide down until it rests against the valve spring locator. That will give you a quick referance to the installed height needed for your heads.

I would go with this set of valve springs, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SBC-C...QQcmdZViewItem . You will need to have some machine work on the valve spring pockets in order to use them. I do not know of any spring with a 1.7" installed height that would be able to handle the lift that you are going to have with the 1.6 rockers.
