You don't have to "regret" modding a car. You just have to pace yourself and don't do the race car mods that everybody else does. Don't mod it to be a track car, then expect it to be a street car. Huge cams, stiff suspension, loud 9 inch rear ends, etc... are what make people hate their cars.

Nice find man. You need to get a tune on that thing and I know just the guy to do it. I hear he's knocked off 4 tenths @ the track on a bone stock car with a tune only

Yea... I am going to take it slow. My cousin is going to port on my heads and I want a mild cam. I don't want to do anything too crazy till I am out of school cause this car has to get my around!! By the way, I might need to talk to that guy cause I will soon have full exhaust and I want it tuned then.

Thanks for the compliments,
Josh

I believe it.

There is a huge difference between a dyno tune and a street tune as far as performance goes.

To the OP - Nice car man. Make sure you take your time and do a lot of reading before you buy. Josh (Damian) is a great help to the LSx crowd.

I did the same thing... that's why my post count is so low... I liked reading and doing research....

I can give you some short cuts if you want. Just PM me.

I have a couple of parts that can get you started. My first mod was a SLP lid....

Good luck man.

I would of loved another 4 tenths on my 'stock' car. I would of had Cobra owners tripping even more then they already were, lol.
