Default Headers

I have a 06 6 speed vette and i'm about to get some headers some time soon. I was wanting to go with the Kooks system but was wondering if there is anything better. Thanks.

Im running Kooks and they are awesome. fit and finish is excellent. If theres a better header out there for the money, I dont know about it. And I have installed a lot of headers on a lot of cars.

Alright thanks for the help guys. I'll go with the Kooks for sure. I have a Corsa Extreme so it should sound nice when the headers get installed.

Pacesetters work just fine too, and their 1/3 the price. Installed tons of them over the years.

I agree. For the money they are a great header. Just not stainless.

Stainless is nice but over rated to say the least...been running coated pacesetters for 7 years and over 200,000 miles and they still look good and are not rusting...

PS Just a FYI for ya .. Texas Speed has a nice coated header for Corvettes at 1/3 the price of kooks.

/\ - Agreed. TSP's Corvette headers are real nice, especially for the price.

I have the Texas-speed long tubes on my 03 z06 and they are good for the money. I don't think their fitment is as nice as American Racing headers, but their performance is spot on with all of the big ones at a third of the cost.

I picked up 6 MPH in the 1/4 with them versus stock exhaust no other changes.
