I deal with Josh at Spartan Performance. He is the freggin man, he treats every car as if it was his own. To me, there is no other choice. Vengence is awesome yes, but too damn expensive. Let the spartan work on your chariot. I promise you bro, from experience, you will not be dissapointed.

Also, Lamar Walden in Doraville. Very cool shop with gearheads that have been balancing and blueprinting engines since the '80s. They also have a CNC machine that can port your heads for cheap. When I visited their shop they had one of the first 5th gen Camaros getting a stroker motor, which was right next to the '67 Stingray getting some engine work. They are through and through GM experts.

Oh and btw, he did my cam install, my car is by no means slow anymore! He also did my headgaskets, got my heads milled, installed a crap load of parts including long tubes, valve springs pushrods, full exhaust work, stall, transcooler, underdrive pulley, and a lot more. Also did a really good job tuning the car with hp tuners. I got a hell of a deal to..

I didn't have time to do the cam in my wife's C5, but I NEVER like to leave my cars anywhere. Josh took excellent care of the car (even cleaned it afterwards) did a great job on the cam swap, and was VERY reasonable on the price.
He doesn't treat you like a number like some of the bigger shops do. He'll take the time to get it right. I have had contact with two of the shops mentioned and they were NOT very friendly or helpful.
(Although he does need to do a few more curls to get those small arms back in shape)

Josh at Spartan Performance is the only guy I will let work on my car. He does awesome work and by far has the best prices. He has done alot of work on my car and always does a thorough job. I recommend everyone I know who has an F-body, Vette or other LSX car to go to him.

I too have been to Josh at Spartan Performance. He has installed Full exhaust on my 01 Z28 i had,Full Exhaust on my new 2004 GTO, full exhaust my buddies 00 Z28, and my friend with a FRC Corvette is going to take his there too. He is Legit! He is good to work with, does the job perfect, and knows his ****! I took my Gto to get dynoed after the full exhaust and the guy at the dyno keep complimenting the tune that he did. He said it was "perfect". Hands down take your car to josh. He will not Dissapoint. ANd he is twice as cheap as Vengeance. No offence Vengeance

Its pretty clear that Vengeance and Spartan both have a great following, and great reputations.
I would suggest talking to both and making an informed decision.
I dont think you can go wrong either way.
