Theres a track in Huntsville, but wether or not they race during the week I really dont know. Theres a couple of members on here from huntsville, maybe they'll chime in. Did you drive your car down from OH?

no...I left my 98 at home in the garage. I did see a red T/A at the Lonestar next to the hotel. I have the company's 03 Explorer(I hate Ford seats) I would also like to go to a car show or cruise if there is one available this week.

I will have to look into that....the major problem will be times that it is open for tour. The plant I am visiting works from 6:30 until 5:00. Ten and a half hour days suck when you are on salary...oh well at least I am not back home at the factory.

the drag strip was open last year on wednesdays for mustang fbody races
there number is 256-859-0807......or owners cell 205-251-7311
space and rocket center.

well I am here at least until thursday. I will give the dragstrip a call tomorrow to see if they are going to run. I ended up going bowling out on Route 72 tonight and had a pretty good time. I would love to go to the car show but I won't be here for the weekend. I am headed back home so I can cruise with XtinctZ28 since he wines like a B__ch when I don't go cruisin with him. So far the trip to Bama has been pretty good. Just wish I had my wife and my car down here to enjoy it a little bit more.

Just got back from the dragstrip. I didn't see one f-body out there and there was only one Yellow GTO that didn't even run. I was definitely out of place. Not one local even said anything about my Toledo T-shirt. I still had a good time and got to see a guy blow up his rearend. Just wish I could have seen some f-bodies to show the mustangs how it is done. Maybe next time I am down here there will be a better turnout.
