Default Detailed the SS...pics

Here's some pics of my car. Ben and I just finished detailing it and it looks awesome. If anyone needs a detail, Ben does it for a great price. Enjoy!

Pewter doesn't show off a detail job good enough. Now black, that's the purtiest when it's done. Either way, it came out really good and it looks stunning in person. I'm pretty jealous of that car Nic.

ummmm, not to be nosey.

But what steps did you go through?

I use a basic

Wash (Meguiars Gold)
Clay Bar (Mothers)
Wash (Meguiars Gold)
Wax (Meguiars or Mothers, as of now I am favoring Meguiars Gold)
Wash (Meguiars Gold)
Quick Time (Mothers California Gold)
Tire Shine (Black Magic)

Then go over it with a Microfiber or two, just to make sure it gets all the wax off.

Finished result looks like.

Since I'm obviously not a sponsor, PM me if you want it done. It's somewhat time-consuming, but well worth it. It's certainly not a business, but I will do it on the side as a hobby for a small fee.

Do you use any buffers or anything? I have thought about venturing into getting one, but I am too afraid I will burn the paint. I just need someone to show me how.

I still use the ol' go get some applicator pads and do one panel at a time. It turns out nice but it just takes WAY TO LONG.

Yes, I use a Porter Cable orbital buffer...but I still take it off by hand. It took 3 1/2 hours to do Nic's car. That's with two people. If you ever want some help, let me know. My setup is designed so that it absolutely won't burn paint. It very simple to use.
