the new project 1000+ rwhp turbo charged 91 coupe!!!!!!!!!
i got a new project underway.i'm building a 91 mustang coupe i just got.i orderd a custom built ford racing block today.it's good all the way up to 454 ci's and about 2000 hp. i'm going with a single turbo around a 88- 91 mm.i'm also going to run a 6 speed so it's going to be a real deal street car.i'm trying to put together a good rotating assembly now.the 4340 forged crank is good upto 1400-1600hp. i'm looking at wiseco pistons and scat 9000 series rods.arp l19 bolts, clivete racing bearings and afr 225 or brodix cylinder heads.a holley carb intake converted to efi, with a 1000 cfm t,b. if anyone has any suggestions or idea's let me know. i am still looking around so any help will be helpful. i am looking to put down 1000 rwhp minimum hopefully more along the way of 1150-1200 rwhp. it should be a blast to drive maybe not to crazy.

yeah i've been thinking about just putting the ls motor in there.because there cheaper and 6 bolt mains.i can use a few of the stock parts from them such as the crank.i would have to buy a dohc cobra motor to get it to handle what i'm looking to make without going aftermarket.aftermarket blocks cost in the area of $1800-$2200. so the only thing keeping me from doing it is the putin chevy stuff in a ford.i would never hear the end of that one. at least i could run a cool sticker "built tuff with chevy stuff".i'll check into priceing and see what the differencr is and go from there i will let u know what i decide.
