I've been wondering the history of this car for awhile now!

The Brembo brakes are certainly a MASSIVE $3000+ upgrade, I don't think those detract from the value at all. I liked the car better when it had white wheels though.

Xsta, do you happen to have any pictures of Project Pumpkin I or II from years back?

What's the poorly part you're referencing? I may need to reread the description.

I really like B&B exhaust. Haven't heard it, but it is extremely good looking beside the fact it looks a little too chunky. Plus... it's my initials... so perhaps I am biased.

I'd like to point out something unique. According to the VIN #, the car was built 2 days before Halloween on 10-29-96. I think that's pretty coincidental given it's named Project Pumpkin II.

Matt Murphy owns the REAL PUMPKIN, I had a chance to buy it but he worked for SLP at the time and beat me to the punch...I offered Dave 45K for back in 1997 but Matt got the car :o(

I did get chance to see it in action on Atlanta Speedway at the 1998 F-Body Gathering and IMO its one of the nicest F-Car I have ever seen..

This one is imo not even close to SLP's Car...

JS, do you have any pictures of that car? I went through my files and surprisingly all I have are four pictures of the original one. The rest I have are of this one with t-tops.

Don't you have White gauges as well? Why is it lighting up blue though? The amp install is defiantly tacky looking; either make it look nice or hide it. I don't mind the B&B exhaust. I would prefer to see White wheels over the Chrome.

I like it a lot! But a lil too expensive for my taste!

In my Red car I do and the Berger came with them.

I feel changing the gauge face in Pumpkin II, de-values the car, especially since it "was" a Canadian car that came OEM with a KPH gauge face originally . . not a MPH . . . and now that somewone chose to put an amp into it I can only assume the wiring harness has been tampered with . . . again devaluing the car . . . But I too also aggree the important car is the True Pumpkin, which I assume is in Matt Murphy's posession still . . .

It would be like me modifying my LT4 . . .
