wondering the same thing. I loved that car. Was thinking about it the other day, Since I saw a 93-97 V6 firebird. Seeing a formula body style in that color reminded me of it.

That particular car was later updated to a 455 cubic inch C5R/LS6 combo that made almost 600rwhp through cats

I had a chance to see it last time I was at GMMG after it had the 455 installed. Looks even sexier in person. MIke said the thing is an absolute torque monster.

Did my eyes deceive me or did that engine bay show a carbon fiber air lid?

Why did they make it from a formula body style? Its hard to tell, but is it a t-top or is the top paint gloss black like the black panel. I really like how the under hood is painted black. I wounder if the underside of the hood is the same. I gives that sick feeling of and old style 60's 70's car. Kinda weird about the valve covers (red). All and all I drive it everyday and everywhere.

That's not real Carbon Fiber. That's an application done to a regular black lid.

Real Carbon Fiber has a look you can't mistake. And it glitters as you look from other angles. ~Joshua

It is just a whisper CF look lid. It appears to be a hard top car, when i saw it i was paying a little more attention to the motor than the roof. It actually started as a V6 bird out in texas i believe
