I got my car home, and started negotiation with Matt and Mike, the rest is history,, the car is now probably one of very very few GMMG cars with this kind of upgrades..
I like your silver car though,, when i decided i could choose between a silver car, and mine, i took mine, due to B4C, i really wanted a car with out the t tops.. Nothing against them, but at the time it was the thing for me

NEW, love your blue! I'm the second owner of my HR. I have a lot of vision problems. So I got the A4 with the idea my wife could drive it. Wrong, it scares the heck out of her. She ask if it always made so much noise. I told her only when the engine was running. She didn't like my answer. I wasn't being sensitive
to her feelings. Long story short, it's in the garage or on a trailer most of the time.In the 20 months I've owned the car it has only had about 300 miles put on it.

How many miles on your car now?, Where did you pick it up? I'd like to try my car with a auto tranny to, with a really good converter and some sticky tires. I think it could turn some good times
My car has about 3500 miles on it now, 250 miles after phase v, and the first 2500 was when we took the car from MI to Florida, via NJ for shipping. I wanted some miles on it first, to make sure i could correct anything that could go wrong, but nothing happened..

NEW, It's kind of a long story. Back in '02 one of my best buddies , 02_Phase2_ZL1. ordered a '02 ZL1, sweet. I got to thinking it sure would be nice to own a GMMG Camaro, but I just didn't have any loose change sitting in a jar on my dresser so I didn't think too much more about it. Well in the summer of '04 I took my '88 Iroc-Z to SuperFest. Another friend at the show had a Phase I ZL1 he offered to sell me, but the price was more than I wanted to pay. Now fast forward to '05 . I heard about a one owner Phase IIX HR for sale in Grand Rapids. I called the owner and we worked a deal over the phone subject to inspection in person. If it looked as good as pictures he had on the web. It was a deal!! It was and I wrote him a check on the spot!
It now has about 4200 miles on it When Mike C. finished the Phase IIX engine upgrade they took the car to the Carolina Dragway on Jan. 2nd, 2004 for a test
The car has a 3500 Skip Jack converter and 3.73 gears. With a set of M/T drag radials, mounted on 16" rims it ran 11.90 @ 108.5 mph with a 1.63 60' time on a cool crisp winter day. I do have a DVD of the pass down the 1/4 mile and a copy of the time slip. With a little tunning they were certain it had 11.50's in it, but Matt said to put it back in the trailer. If we break it we have to fix it. When the first owner got it home to Michigan he tried it a couple of times in the heat of a Michigan summer. Posting times in the 12.20's.I've had several friends offer to take it down the 1/4 mile for me, but I'm not interested. That doesn't stop them from asking any time our club has a track day scheduled at the local strip!
