Great idea Jon! Someone needed to step up on this and you guys came through. Folks no longer have to piece their systems together on their own.

Couple questions:

- Installed one of your tanks before, and the sump interfered with the exhaust system. Has this been addressed?

- Is there a reason the sumps don't have 2 bungs on them? This would be ideal for someone running a direct port setup. They could use one bung for the DP fuel pump.

- Have you guys had good luck with using bulkhead fittings on the plastic tanks?

Thanks!

The sump in the tank will be a problem for some exhaust systems with the stock muffler mounting location. Some aftermarket systems are not a problem, others are. For the most part, people needing this fuel system, will run an X-pipe to the axle system.

All tanks now have 2 outlets.

We havent installed any this way, but we have had cars come in that way, and many people purchasing mail-order have said they were going that route. Most aftermarket fuel cells are plastic, so I dont see a problem in doing it with the factory plastic tank.

How much for system 1 without the fuel pressure gauge? I already have an autometer full sweep fuel pressure gauge. 0-100.

Deduct $30 if you do not want the autometer 1.5" fuel pressure gauge in either of the kits.

Thanks,
Jon

How much weight savings is there with your tank over the stock metal one?

Yes, how much of a weight difference is there betweena stock 99 tank and your aluminum model?

I would not expect a weight savings going to the aluminum from plastic. I have handled both. If anything, the aluminum might be a tad heavier.

It is a very nice tank though! And provides much needed flexibility for making a killer fuel system.

No way, i would guess 10lbs lighter going alum.
I used 1 hand to pick up my alum, and the plastic was mad heavy in comparison.
JMO, never scaled it tho.

This is the system I ordered from you this week! Glad to see it now as a one click purchase...at such a good price no less.

Thanks for the fuel tank fittment/exhaust info.
Also, do you sell the bulkheads for the plastic tanks? Can you give any input about mounting this pump in the tank as another option?

Jammaster, although it can be done, we havent installed any of them in the tank. Some type of custom hanger will be needed, since the pump weighs considerably more than the stock pump.

You will also need to figure out some sort of pickup, since we sell them with a custom #10 inlet fitting.
