The prices that we have on our web page already reflect the 10% off sale price (the ones with the red slash and the new price underneath.)

Hey Angie,
I'm really looking at the T-Rex kit. What is the advantage/difference between the Crane and Comp springs for the T-Rex kit? How much longer would the Comps last over the Crane's, or vice versa? Do either springs require machining or anything to the head to fit?
Thanks.

In terms of longevity, it is really hard to say which one will retain its pressure over time as both of these are relatively new springs on the market. In my opinion, it would be toss up between the two. Both should last for a solid 20k miles on an aggressively driven car.
When using the Crane springs with the TReX cam, it is recommended to install a .030" shim under each spring seat in order to increase the seat/open pressure and get the spring closer to coil bind. These are also available from Thunder Racing. I am unsure of the price or part # on this item, though.
