Are your Bosch 30#ers the same spec as the Ford Motorsports 30#ers? I know bosch makes the FMS 30#er, but I want to be sure on the flow rating @ xx psi.

Can you offer any info on this?

The Bosch #42's are pintle style and the Lucas are disc/ball style injectors , the price difference is just basically because our cost is different . The Bosch #30's are Ford Motorsport , the flow rating is 30 lbs. at 43.5 psi .

Thanks,
Mike

Well now that's interesting... Mike, I am in no way trying to discredit you, but the 30#ers from Ford Motorsport directly are advertised at 30# - 40 psi. This is for part #M-9593-B302F off their website (fordracingparts.com). I like your price, but is there anyway you could positively confirm that the ones you are selling and the ones advertised here are the same?

This will not be a big difference in the generic sense, but will make all the difference from a tuning standpoint. Thanks

It says "These injectors are flowed at 40-psi differential pressure" , I am not sure what they mean by that , but I know generally it is 43.5 psi (3 bar) . From a tuning standpoint , on your particular application if you still have the stock 26.6's , just rescale the Injector Flow Rate table by 130.2% (multiply the table by 1.302) and you will be good to go , then you will just have to fine tune it after that . Hope this helps .

Thanks,
Mike

Ok, i'm gonna go with 40 psi. Yes the standard for measurement is usually 3 bar, but I think the fords are rated against the ford rail pressure, hence why they notate that the psi test flow is at 40. I have tuned FMS-SVO 30#ers using 40 psi as a conversion base and had much success in the past. The scalar factor to use in this case for

99-00 - 1.368
01-02 - 1.258

This will be to clear up any confusion as the all FMS/SVO's ARE rated at 40 psi and the 30#ers flow like 36#ers on the LS1 rail. Being that your injectors also display a 40 psi test flow, my next question is:

How quick do you guys process orders!

txhorns281 - Orders are processed immediately , sorry for the delayed response to the post .

camz383 - the #30's will be fine for you , as stated above they nearly run #36 on the LS1 .

Thanks,
Mike
