Sorry about the shipping to Hawaii - it is a long distance to haul. We are currently looking into another carrier, but it would still prob be expensive due to the fact they base the rates by dimensions and the size the item takes up rather then actual weight.
At this time the hood is only available for the ls1, but in the future, we will probably offer it for the lt1.

Is this an exact copy of the SLP Ultra-Z hood?

I would also like to know if that is an SLP copy or maybe a reproduction from a different form.

I have the SLP version and love the general idea but there are some surface quality issues and fitment issues when compared to the curves of the fenders. It doesn't 100% match up.

Agreed, I have the SLP and the ripples and body lines need some work. C'mon VFN and wow us again!

Not an exact copy, but we are following their design as guidelines. But we're not doing major mods to it either..... I'm sure everyone will be happy with the outcome.

I'll take an ultra-z if the fit and quality is good. Fiberglass? What is the difference between pin-on an bolt-on?

Generally speaking...

pin-on = racecar
bolt on = streetcar

Go figure, after searching for an hour, I find this thread 15 minutes after I email and PM VFN asking if they were actually doing this. I suck at searching. Anyhow, I'm very interested, and do you have any pics yet?

Oh man, it was even only on the second page.

Hi Guys.
We are hoping to have these available by the end of the month/beginning of next. I'm sorry but no pictures at this time, but once we have them, I'll post 'em right away for everyone to check out.
We are still offering the 15% discount, but it will probably be expired at that point. But I'm sure we'll do another special when we have these hoods available ;}
