The sail panel subs don't work, but all the rest of the speakers do. I did verify they are plugged in as well.

they are probably both blown, check the power going to them with a mulitmeter.

o.k... I will do that, but didn't have a meter when I did the initial little checking this past weekend.

I also looked at the sticky and found the wiring pinout which will help

I just normally know a blown speaker to still work, but make noise.

In my 96 they blew out and didn't even make a hiss. There is a special going on for some sail panel replacement speakers in the Sponsor sale section so you might want to jump on that.

Got a voltmeter? Put it across the speaker leads (DC volts mode) and turn the volume moderately up. Note that if it's reading like .05V then that's probably a false reading and there is really nothing there.

Don't buy anything until you're sure, I'd say.

wouldnt u want to measure AC volts???

AC volts would work too, but DC will put a capacitor in the path and smooth the measurement out so it won't be jumping around as much.
