Default Double DIN bezels coming... What are your faceplate dimensions?

Not the cage, but the face that would protrude...

Just wondering if we need different size bezels or if one generic one will do, thanks.

I went out to where the black outline stopped. I figure that this way, nomatter what the variation, your still covered. Looking at mine, I didnt seem to diminish from the look to go out a little further.

I also did it cause when I put the plastic on the back, to have an idea where to stop the bondo, it wouldnt fit right and i couldnt tell where i over bondo'ed.

Unfortunately the person I was dealing with wasn't completely upfront with me... Regardless, I have another vendor ready to sell. I'll have pics and prices (and a real thread) within 24 hours...

Mark, let me know if you need anything, I cut my own bezel and brackets for my double DIN before these were available.

it appears your vendor is doubledmods. that was the picture "he" posted of his prototype. he offered to give advice on making a bezel once, i thought that was nice. I ended up not taking it up, there was a pretty good write up, although very different, from mustang blogs that got me through. Though i'll be the first to say i didnt go there first, that was the LAST thing i did.

your prices are extremely fair, considering how much it costs to make one. I suggest buying from 6litereater

Yup, sure is. He is the only guy I have talked to that seemed honest. There was another vendor on here that used to do them cheap and apparently he was ripping people off (had a great price though ).

I'm working with Dennis now to get down pricing, time lines, etc... He is THE Corvette guy and has only done a few Camaro and Firebird ones so we're taking it slow...

At least he HAS done some though and has pics to prove it !
