Question Monsoon question

i am looking to replace my factory monsoon headunit and i just bought a CDX-M630 to replace it with. my problem is finding a wire harness adapter to plug into my cars wire harness so i dont have to cut the cars harness. does anyone know which adapter matches up with the monsoon head unit harness. so i can plug it into the car harness and just splice those wires for my new headunit wires.

The adapter connects to the factory harness coming from inside the car on one side and to the after market headunit on the other side.

I got the Metra 70-1858 harness when I did my install over the summer.

The adapter has color coded wires designed to be spliced to an aftermarket head unit. You connect the loose wires of the adapter to the wires from the head unit color for color (i.e. red to red, yellow to yellow, etc.). Once you have the adapter wired to the new HU, the other end simply plugs into the factory harness. This allows you to install an aftermarket HU without cutting any factory wiring.

They are two different brands but technically the same harness. I'd go with the Metra, I like their stuff better. Ultimately, it's up to you and your wallet.

I'm looking for a replacement Monsoon HU for my WS6.

Not sure where to get just a new display. Best bet might be eBay.
