Default what kind of connection is this?

and NO its not a s-video, s-video only has 4 prongs, this has six and its smaller than an s-video connection.

yes this is my LCD, but what you have there is only a 4 pin, mine is 6. I need something like this but with a male connection at the end. Anyone know were to find one?

I just did a quick search on the site you linked for "6 pin mini din" and found it. It was the last entry, right under the one you linked to.

How about just going to the local computer store and buying a PS/2-style keyboard or mouse extension cable. That will have a male 6-pin mini DIN on one end and a female one on the other.

It looks like a mouse extension would work for that, but he doesn't need an extension, he needs to convert it. Besides, he said he found what he needed.

I read that he had found it, I was just offering a cheap alternative for anyone else that might need it. And I realize he wasn't looking for an extension but, for the cheap cost and easy availablity, the extension cable can be cut to provide whatever length of pigtail with plug or socket that you might need.

thanks for the help/suggestions. Its called a mini 6-din plug. I ordered the type of plug i needed from radioshack.
