Default Help! Stereo went out

The Cd player cut off all of a sudden when I was just listening to some music in the driveway. I have an Alpine headunit, with some 12's in the back. I was bumpin and then it just shut off. I haven't got it to turn on since yesterday....

Anyone?

Have you checked all the fuses, including the one on the back of the radio?

I'd say fuses are the number one cause of stereo problems. My buddy spent a week troubleshooting his stereo problems and I figured it out in a few mins. A fuse! I don't think he knew what a blown fuse looked like...

Yea, I checked the fuse in the back of the Head unit, and the fuse for the radio in the panel. I had the install done at best buy so their gonna look at it today since its under warranty. Hopefully they can find the problem.

Thanks for the help guys!

if it comes back and breaks again, take it somewhere else, everytime ive heard someone getting something done (car install wise) at best buy, they end up getting screwed. Don't want that to happen to yet another person hehe.

yea, my older brother works there, so I get alot of discounted things etc. But hopefully they can get it fixed soon. They said it was probably the wires. My answer, will what the F*ck did yall do wrong! It's only been 2 months since the install.

Thanks again guys!

Alright guys, they said the HeadUnit wasn't giving any output, power wise. This is only 6 months old. How can something just shortout like that?? Alpine's are usually good CD players, and I bought it brand spankin new..

Any Ideas other than a bad Headunit??

Thanks
