And what is considered a good price?

Do any of you have one of the newer ones, and if so do you like it?

woofersetc. They are not authorized. No web dealers for JL. Honestly you'll get just as good with a stealth box from subthump for a lot less.

I had a Subthump in my other car, wasn't a fan. I want a JL Audio this time. A friend has one, for one 10" sub it sounds insane.

I looked for the JL Audio stealth box and could not find it (except for $450+), I ended up getting the MTX sub box (ebay), 4 JL Audio 6.5 TR650 and JL Audio e2150 amp($600 for all incl ship).

Why were you not a fan? Same 5/8" MDF with a 3/4" face? Put a JL Audio driver in and it nearly the same box right? Am I missing something?

The JL box is fiberglass. Overall it's a better enclousure, less flex. Price doesn't matter. Plus I have all JL speakers so it will all match up nicely. My shop said they can get me one for $425, I wanted to see if any of you knew a cheaper place, thats all. Thanks.

in a few weeks, there will be a new product on the market that will make the JL Stealthbox look like a joke.

more airspace, just as rigid if not more, and made with much stronger fiberglass materials, yet will be thinner and lighter then the chop mat JL uses.

Although, production will be very limited, and pricing has not yet been set.

look for an announcement on a certain fbody audio specific web board.

I can vouch for Mikes box. Much more air space than the other boxes mentioned. I was suprised how much better my sub sounded down low.

search ebay, you'll find it.

I'm not a sponsor, but I'm not a real business either, just a guy trying to make some side cash. Still, don't want to break the rules, so search ebay for a fiberglass firebird sub box.

Or, you can visit the site referenced by my username, and look in the sub bass forum, there is a sticky with the info.
