dumb *** stock alarm question
When trying to arm my car it only honks once instead of twice?
What are the variables?
(besides the trunk being not fully closed)
I put my carpet in tonight and listened to the radio for too long while doing so.
The car barely started and I noticed the trip-meter was reset.
What to do? Disconnect battery?

I have the factory alarm settings, beeps twice with the remote unless a door/hatch isn't fully closed. On the '99's when battery voltage is low it'll reset the trip to zero, sometimes also accompanied by the guages sweeping too...there's a TSB on it.

Mine beeped twice at all times unless the hatch was open. Even if the doors weren't closed all the way as long as the hatch was closed it beeped twice.
So can anyone tell me where some sensors are? I am still only getting one honk and it's pissing me off because the hatch and doors are closed. Like I said earlier. All I have done is dragged carpet across the back of the car to the front and played my stereo too long draining the battery.
Where are these sensors so I can messing with them.
