Default i got owned

i knew going into it i was going to but still had to see, well i was on my way home from going out to dinner and at my light i have to turn i pull up to this 60s chevelle with a nasty cam, little or no exhaust piping, slicks/ skinnies, and a cage with a guy that had to be mid 40s. i knew what was going to happen but ya know ya gotta try it to see what it got and well the light turned green and i eased into it and then got on it, i was prolly at 45-55 mph when i heard him get on it and by 75-80 he blew by me like i was sitting still and put about 6-7 cars on me when he shut down. at the next light i asked him what he had in that thing and he said a basic 350, i dont believe him by any means lol i wish he was honest, but it definately sounded like a killer big block, and how he caught me and passed me, and only having 2 gears, a cage, slicks, and the smile he gave me, im willing to bet it was a 9 sec car or better. thoughts/opinions on how fast the thing really was?

honorable death. I can see it being in the 9s or at least low 10s unless he put the cage in it for fun which i doubt. Lost to my pops in a similar fashion with his chevelle.

I'd believe he was a 350 lol. He could be built like to other and running NOS. I'm running a 350 with a nasty cam and no one believes me when I'm next to them lol. high 10's is what i'm going for.

could easily be a 350 with low gears and lost weight...it doesn't take a big block to run down bolt on ls1 cars (it just makes it easier)

+1 big blocks have their own sound the same way small blocks have their own sound. It gets fuzzy for me when they get between 390 and 450CI but for the most part they sound very different imo

could have been a big cubic inch small block. Those things will run HARD!! I like how some of you say there is no way it was this, it was definately that. How do you know what a car will run if you weren't there? He might have had some pedal left.
