Nice runs, but the 2.3 Whipple Cobra should have pulled pretty easily. My old 03 on a conservative pump gas tune was making 556whp.

I dont know what was up with the whipple Cobra.. We expecting to get ours doors blown off. HE jumped out hard on the 40roll but looked like he lost power when shifting into 3rd. Couple of friends are saying he's not fully tuned or something and shifting at 5K rpms.

Any info on the mods of the other "bolt-on" cobra's?

I ask because I had a fool the other day try to convince me, after I caught his lying *** about his mods that an aftermarket blower is a bolt-on. Or a pulley... morons!

So, in that case, a 732ci BBC is a bolt-on since it bolts on!!! So is a nitrous kit, twin turbo kit, a turbine bolted on to the trunk of your car, etc!

I raced the whippled cobra a month or so back. I was only on 7lbs but beat him pretty easily. His tuner instructed him not to race it since he has fuel issues up top, so he short shifts it. Once he gets it corrected it should be pretty nasty.

Thanks for clarifying that. That makes alot of sense... like i said earlier, it looked like he lost power when shifting into 3rd.

Great races and an excellent daytime video! If I were the owner of the Whippled Cobra I wouldn't race it in that state just due to the fact that he clearly can't put up a good showing of the car's capabilities as it sits now.

Mach is not a 150 shot. Its only a 125 shot. THe whipple cobra had not had a final tune. He will be getting a retune. I believe he is pushing the limits of his current fuel system. It will definitely be a different story soon.
