Ran into a 03 Cobra on the highway

Ran into a 03 Cobra on the highway Cruising down Highway 99 yesterday on my way to Merced, CA and a red New Edge rolls up fast in my rear view. I realize it's a cobra immediately by the front end and seize the opportunity to bait him in. He pulls up besides me and proceeds to do the ricer fly-by. I gas it in 6th a little bit as he gets on his brakes then move up behind him to see his license plate read "KB03SVT" lol. I switch lanes still at part throttle but now in 4th gear and pull up on him. He looks over at me with a cocky face like i'm small time and then drops it. I punch it and immediately pull away, and pull and pull and pull until he backs out of it. I was at 140-ish when I looked down at my speedo which comes VERY quick in this car. I had him by about 5+ cars when it was all said and done. I tried to get the guys attention to pull off on the next exit so we could talk but he did not even look at me again after that. He dropped back in the fast lane at a steady cruise until I saw him exit in my rear-view. I'm thinking maybe he just wanted the chance to run an LS9 i dunno. I'll take any chance I can get to walk a Cobra though.

I'm surprised he even tried.
For example, any 98+ LSX car I see I usually don't even bother. I know the outcome. Even if someone that say, had a 2001 Camaro Z28 couldn't drive that great, there is just too much HP difference to help me any.
That's why I want a procharger
There are a lot of LSX fodies around these parts. More so than Mustangs. 95% are stock, or close. They ALL race.
For example, any 98+ LSX car I see I usually don't even bother. I know the outcome. Even if someone that say, had a 2001 Camaro Z28 couldn't drive that great, there is just too much HP difference to help me any.
That's why I want a procharger
There are a lot of LSX fodies around these parts. More so than Mustangs. 95% are stock, or close. They ALL race.

Gotta love those ZR1's. They are nasty. Watch out though...not all the KB Cobras out there are so soft.

Yeah that caught my eye too.
No replacement for displacement type of thing I am sure. Yeah.. KB can only stand for Kenne Bell.

It makes me real happy to see some one actually ENJOYING their ZR1.
Sounds like a blast and i wish i had the luxury to know that i could walk most terminators :/

No car of mine will ever be a garage queen. Even if I was to ever get my hands on a Veyron I would drive it like I stole it!

I like your thinking! Sadly i cannot afford a ZR1(yet) much less a veyron, but hey ill have fun with my car till the warranty gives up, in which case time for something new lol
