Default Why i dont like ricers, and love Cubic Inches

Not to put down all the little Doo Whats(ricers), but i have a 99 Camaro SS M-6. I was rolling down the interstate and a 08 or 09 civic SI pulles up, i dont like to get down alot cause it is my daily driver but i couldnt resist. He starts reving up and i drop to 4th and wait on him. we both jump, i had a length on him all the way till 140 then i lift. well come to find out this honda is supposed to have a stroker motor with spray. OK i am all stock with headers and exhaust. dont you think that a stroked/sprayed SI should have taken a stock SS. when i found that out what he has under the hood i didnt feel to bad about him hangin.

well not really. First off your not stock. headers and exhaust usually will put a ls1 car around 350whp. Whats an Si 190whp stock. with a stroker setup and maybe a 50 shot he might only be around 300whp.

At the end of the day, it is still a Honda...

At least give him credit that he has a modded motor and isn't the typical stereotype of Civics rolling around with a fart cannon thinking they are fast ****

I might get flamed on but i think the newer Si Civics are some of the funnest cars to drive. They are not highway monsters by any means however.

I agree with ya man. I want a 4 door for my DD.

My buddy has one with bolt ons and a little spray that ran a high 12. He actually beats up on stock F bodies back home on a regular.

To get the story straight I wasn't braging I was simply implying how rediculous it is in pouring 10k in a 4 banger and can't even beat a stock SS trust me its not fun goin from a built supercharged mustang with 400 plus to ground to a stock SS the power lose sucks but I'm still a Chevy man. Car won't be like this for long

And 300 HP n a 1800 pound car should easily walk past a 3k pound car

Its not rediculous at all, Its a new age of performance cars. If some one wants to build a honda so be it. I think its a underdog complex, I have it aswell, I would love to race a excotic car like a twin turbo gallardo or somthing and win in my camaro. I know in the end of the day he drives a lambo and I drive a camaro but its the rush that I just beat a built 200k car with my little z and it feels good lol. Its not just for braggin but for the thrill. Oh And I love to destory cocky owners who think they are fast aswell that makes it even better.
