Default sujomatt vs EF Turbo Civic

My buddy did the video and editing - his car is awesome. i honestly found a new level of respect for hondas cuz of his car.

ENJOY!

He is 100% dig racing - were on our way to a friends house so we thought we'd have some fun. He has a full suspension and an oversized 40R.

65mph roll

Yea dude, definitely too big. but now hes doing forged pistons and rods, etc. He broke right before the race - ringland died on him. we were f-ing around too much for stock parts. So the race isnt even an accurate one.

That and i still had a boost leak in this run (was at 8psi rather than 10), so who the heck knows what it will be like next race in the spring.

And thanks!

The boosted honda I ran must have been bunk then. It couldn't do anymore than 14.5 in the 1/4.

There are tons of people who don't know what the **** they are doing with hondas. One guy at Firebird had a gutted, slammed, d motor with I believe he said a 57 trim...was running 15's at like 92 mph. Now on the other hand, there is my buddy who swaps hondas for a living, and his crx has a stock d motor in it also, gt30r, and is running consistent 12.1's at 112-115. Granted the motors don't last long, but when the blow, he just grabs a spare lying around and throws it in in a afternoon.

Yep, there are more slow FI Honda's than there are fast ones. They really give the Honda guys a bad name. Most of those guys are running little T25 turbos with 6psi, and go around talking about how bad *** they are. They run a 14.9 and think they are the ****.

I have a buddy with a B16 Civic, with a 57 trim, and I can barely pull on him with my cammed Camaro. There are some quick ones out there.

The guy I was referring to told me for days how his boosted Honda was going to <insert favorite slang for beating someone in a race> etc etc. He kept saying "d00d, it has a TURBO!" I've seen far too many turbo cars that are duds. I figured he'd probably take me, or be close to it. He was busloads behind me. I haven't talked/heard from him since. I saw him leaving one of the gas stations up the road the other day. I waved, he acted like he didn't see. I am sure he had raced other slow cars (well slower than a 2v) and thought his **** was tight.

The races around here - in hartford .. have some ridiculous cars.. 700hp civic, integras, gsx, tsi's.. etc etc etc that no one knows about lol

my other friend has a del sol with an h22b swap in it.. and is slapping a 35r on it and doing internals as well. this summer is going to be out of control.

My buddy is doing something similar. 4 door EG civic with a forged b18c1, cammed and ported GSR head, and a gt35r. Boost by gear and slicks. I think they want 500 hp, but idk if that will be on pump (doubt it), or 100 octane.

PSM got called out by a "700 hp" Civic from Hartford one night. The guy showed up on full slicks and then PSM slapped him around like a bitch from a dig (the guy actually wanted a dig so I'll give him full credit there). I think the guy ended up admitting that it made 360ish to the ground.

There was a little red turbo Civic at Lebanon a couple years ago that was running high 13's or low 14's at over 125 mph. That car probably suprised alot of people.

You: "What's that turd run?"
Him: "Best time is a 13.8"
You (later on after he walked you like a little girl dog down the highway): "WTF!?"

Yea I remember you telling that story sometime ago. But I have to tell you, I know the tuner - and he's no BSer. And I've seen videos of some of these cars. Some are legit lol
