98 trans am vs g35
yeah so a buddy of mine kinda called me out in a text saying i just came to your house ready to race and you werent there, i saw him later in the day and said haha i know your not calling me out with the g35 im here now lets do this, so we met up from the dig on 3 honks, i took off very easily (thinking i was going to have a easy win) so i didnt spin he had a little finder on me as we left first, from there on it was over not a chance for him when i cut off at 120. i looked back at 90 and had a goood 4-5 car legnths on him. his car is pretty much stock or small mods, my mods are in the sig, just thought id share.

Good kill , the results I expected.
I ran 14.2 in my intake only 6spd 06 g35 sedan, so I think he means 14.1 which is about average for a basic bolt on g35
Very few guys get into 13s , But I think I could of done it with just some baddass tires. Falkens suck (or at least the ones I had did ).

I mean 15.1, he had a 2.7 60' and it's San Antonio so it could have been hot as hell and humid. Like I said it was stock, not bolt on anything. His friend with a bolt on 350z ran 13.9 that same night so I think it was half driver and half crappy tires on the G35.

2.7s 60' sounds like there is a loose nut between the driver's seat and the steering wheel. I was cutting 2.3-2.4 60's in my stock 6spd crew cab V6 Frontier. Open differential, 4.368 first gear, and a 3.538 final drive. 2.7 is just sad.

One of my buddies has a 06 G35x sedan. Its ok, and its nice inside, but not nearly as fast as a stock LS1. Good kill BTW. I dont think he will be calling you out again anytime soon

Hell race it off a 30-40mph roll even

Yea I dont doubt it. Those 3.5L V6s Nissan makes are really stout motors. My same friend with the G35X had a 06 350Z 6 speed before the G and we raced a couple times from a 40 roll. I put about 2 cars on him by 100. Fun cars for sure though.

Whats even more suprising is the sedans are always faster then coupe with the G35. Somehow they are about 100~150lbs lighter even with 2 extra doors.
350 is the lightest, then the g35 sedan, then g35 coupe is the fatest out of the bunch.

Hehe not only tht but take a look at the 07 sedans final drive ratio compared to even the 350Z.
