98 z28 vs 04 svt cobra i finnaly got to run a 04 cobra the other day. cobra is a buddys which he just bought mods are boost bypass and thats it,my mods in sig. we raced about three times.first race was a roll from 70-115. he got me by about 1 car.the next 2 runs were 40-120.the last 2 runs went much better i got him by 3-4 car lengths both times,car was not on the spray.thought the supposed terminators would put up a better fight.next time i will have the camera to get vids.planning to run my buddies full bolt on plus heads 95 formula and 2 other 03 cobras vids to come in a week

SO, you have basic bolt ons and you raced a stock cobra form 40-12 and put 3-4 lengths after he got you a length in 70-115?
I'd say your buddy needs to learn which gear is best to be in at what powerband.

Good kill OP. Which gear was he in on the last 2 runs and what kind of tire does he have? 40 mph in 1st gear is nice, but with that much rpm...the stock 275s, if those are on there, would break loose like a ___. In 2nd gear, it's out of the car's maximum power potential. I would guess 2nd gear and short shifting due to traction issues. Good kill nonetheless. Next time, sit in the passenger seat and watch him run it, and point out where he's f'in up.

while i never said he was a great driver lol no wonder he wont go to the track, the 70mph pull i belive he was in third,at 40mph i dont know.he is planning to pulley the car one he has some money.as far as his traction car doesnt spin any worse than my car so not to bad.i drove this cobra yesterday and i dont know why but it feels like my z28 pulls way harder and it feels like my car has more tourqe.but on a side note i did get raped by my other friends 480rwhp cobra.

or a can quit being lazy and refill my bottle and do a cam and rape him again lol.maybe has car is jacked up who knows all i know is i can say i beat a 03 cobra lol and it sure pisses him off

Don't you have spray? If he pullies it, just throw in the measly 100hp jets and embarrass him. That along with a couple bolt-ons is all it takes to run down a pullied termi. A cam would have you hunting down ported Eatons.
