2012 V6 stang versus any takers in L.A.?
I'm back in Cali on another work trip, this time in the Los Angelas area. Rented a 2012 V6 Mustang. Very surprised at the power of it: the last 2011 I rented a year ago didn't feel half this fast. Matter of fact, I'd guess it could take out a stock LT1 vette or fbody. Probably even one with minor boltons. Any takers?
I'm willing to run anything. let me know fellas! I bet it would even be a decent run for a LS1 fbody -- at least until 70-80mph.

lol only if your cobalt was stock! though with what appears to be aggressive gearing (hits 3rd gear quick, I'm guessing 3.40 gears or higher) I'm sure it could hang with your balt in a zero to 60 run on the street. maybe.

lol just cus it feels fast doesnt mean it is. A buddy has a 2011 v6 with the performance package which includes gears and brembo brakes etc... supposed to run 13s. It barely kept up with another friends' bolt on 2v gt which ive beat when my lt1 was bone stock and i had 4 passengers with me and t-tops off. I couldnt race the 11 v6 straight up, because some sheriffs started following us.
Theyre still pretty fast for a v6, might be a good match for stockish lt1s, sn95 cobras, 2v gts, previous hemi r/ts, but not ls1s and up.

I think he meant driver and 3 passengers which = 4 people. Bolt on lt1 I could see that happening, or a really poorly running 2v. Stock lt1 vs bolt on 2v not so much, the 2vs are slow but not that slow lol
