my 02 ws6 vs my friends new 01 ss
My buddy just got an 01 ss stock minus magnaflow cat back/slp lid. My car has pacesetter headers, tsp duals, moster stage 2 clutch, tick master, lid, tune, and some suspension.
So we went out and got a couple runs in to see how it would hold up against my car, both 6-speeds btw.
First run from a 40 roll, both cars in second gear. I honked it of and take the hit pulled about a car on him through each gear had about 3 on him by 110mph. He said he was shifting 5500 rpm.
Next run was about a 50-60 roll probably closer to 50. I was in 3rd idk about him. He honked it off I pull a car off the hit and pull about 2 more by 100. He said he shifted at 5500 again.
Final run was from a 20. Both cars in first gear. I honked it off he managed to get the hit lol. He pulled a fender and held it until the top of second. I started reelling him in by the top of second and pulled a car and a half through third. Shut it down at about 90. Was still pulling when we shut it down.
His car runs good, Ive been told I have a very strong running bolt-ons car. Will run again and get some videos when I manage to get a camera man or go pro lol.

Idk, hes a decent driver, I have headers/duals/lid and a tune compared to his catback/lid. I base lined 330 before the tune and put 351hp down after so I feel like I pulled just as much as a should have.

I dont have a spare tire/jack or back seats. Idk if he still has his spare or not, he usually tosses all that stuff the day he gets it. Ive only done air delete.
