Default HCI 2000 SS vs 2003 ported/pullied 2003 Cobra

Okay guys in about a week here I will be running a ported/pullied 03 Cobra that has 3.73's and about a 100 lbs. weight reduction. Nether of us have been to the dyno yet (I will in about 5 days though) but both cars are tuned as well. From a roll what do you think will happen here? I'm guessing my ride might be around the 430-440 rwhp from what i've read, and the Cobra thinks he will be in the 480 range. My mods are in my sig. Both of us can drive and both have full weight except for the 100 lbs. off the Cobra

It will be a really good race, too hard to call. Get more info on the cobra (what port, upper or lower or both, irs or sra, tires)...

I'm pretty sure he still has the stock lower pulley. Not sure about the port, but it does have a SRA, and is running on a canned tune. The 100 weight loss if from the SRA according to the owner. He will be on street tires as well, but it will be done from a roll, as i'm on stock suspension with Nitto dr's and can't hook for squat either right now lol

Stock lower, port, and canned tune kinda speak for themselves. My money is on you. Most ported cars are setup for 500+rwhp.

My buddy has a 430whp H/C/I SS too and he ran door to door with me stock, so i dont see why you wouldnt win if your car runs good for the mods. He beats Pullied cobras no problem

With the SRA, I would think that he would weigh close to a 4th Gen.

Should be a close race if both of you are on sticky tires.

True, but not everyone's car runs like his lol. And this is a Ported/Pullied Cobra.

If the Cobra was setup properly it SHOULD win, but you never know. Anything can happen on the street. Says you have an LS6 intake in your sig, is that old?

I just found out that he has an older steigy port from 2005. According to the owner it's supposed to be similar to the newer stage 4 port. And it for sure does have the stock lower pulley with a 2.76 upper

As far as his tune goes...well i'm hoping that will be one of my stronger points lol

He should be right around 500 if not over, and the sra is more then 100 lbs loss going to an 8.8. I would say the Cobra is gonna win... but sitll don't know if he's on a decent tire, he will need it.

-50rwp for dyno queen factor for him and that you should rev out harder and it should go your way pretty good. You need a dyno tune though.

False... especially if it's pullied, and your doing multiple runs.

Why not just throw some nitrous on your car and run power adder to power adder? But anything can happen on the street.

Does the Cobra get to swap blocks for the extra displacement to match the Camaro? Then swap heads and cams too?

Irrelevant, you have a power adder. Both cars weigh about the same and cobra is making more, he needs to level the playing field.

The aftermarket cam, heads, and intake are power adders that the cobra doesnt have though... no fair! The blower just makes up for the missing displacement.
