Default my slow r/t vs cam stalled gto

A few friends and I went to the local 1k foot track and did some racing.
My charger is pretty much bone stock. 370/390 4200lbs
My friends GTO Ls2, cam, stall, tune, intake, exhaust.

We were both on street tires.

I won by a **** hair only because he spun lol

I ran an 11.8 @ 90

At the end of the night he was hooking and running a solid 10.8 with probably the worst mail order tune known to man.

Here is my friend in his 5.9 cummins and the GTO from earlier. Very close races. The cummins lost by a fender on this race. But they went back and forth all night. 10.8's for both of them GTO was trapping 94 and the cummins was trapping 96-97

i mean it would be nice if a charger would trap 90's in the 1.8th lol

what really threw me off was someone in a stock ss auto 5th gen was running 12.6s all night. I knew I just got that race because he spun. but it was all good fun. probably one of the best nights of racing. we all made like 9 passes.

Your buddy with the GTO needs to learn to drive. I leave my co workers 2013 R/T behind and mine only has what is in the sig. driver Mod.. I do like the cooling AC seats in the Charger though.

You need a 6.1 hemi srt8 to really compete against a ls2 gto. Then i would give the edge to the hemi being a auto
