Ehhhh. I'm from CA, and idk where they went in CA but they definitely made those cars look like ****. I know we have faster cars here. I don't think they raced the fastest cars they could have to be honest.

Yea I agree. I mean I know of a few pretty damn fast street cars and I didn't see one there. But hey, have to give them props. Their cars consistently work on the street. Having a car that works on the street and track is a big difference. And yea I don't have any room to talk either lol. Found this though, didn't see it in the video you posted, Krazy Kelly is from NorCal:

It's also about the drivers, you can have the faster car and still lose. LMR proved that(their firebird "may" have a better "track time").

Actually getting a 2000 hp car to hook on an unprepped street is not easy. All the people who quote track times simply don't understand/comprehend this notion. Hence LMR again. Made laughing stocks of themselves.

PS I am friends with the black evo in the beginning opener against farm truck, he is not a douche at all and knew he would get his *** whooped. He acted that way for entertainment for the show.

Also the reason they don't do 1/4 mile is because their cars are geared and setup for 1/8 mile digs. Plus they are approaching 160-200 mph by that point and going beyond that is purely reckless and dangerous.

All true lol. At the same time I do love watching the okc cars spin and almost lose it the whole race. Because streetcar

i like the show, i just hate that no matter how great the races are, they have to put in 45 mins of annoying "drama" and make it like every other reality tv show.

and after watching that i want to laugh, the pickup truck was funny, then 2 cars didnt even stay in it past the 60' mark and the complete lack of traction. okc needs to go out and find the real street guys in cali that know how to hook on the street and try it again. and they need to do the 1/4 not the 1/8thwatching this was like watching the ugr lambo's picking on the 3dx evo

I believe this is the same Mustang that raced Chuck's white Foxbody in the OP

A lot of racers, in the bay area at least mostly race 1/4. Racing a 1.4 setup car vs an 1/8 mile setup car isn't going to work. Supposedly the OKC boys said if the Ca boys come out to OKC they'll give them their 1/4 races.

did okc challenge the cali boys? or was it cali calling out okc? if it was okc challenging cali they should've done it cali's way. dont get me wrong, i love to see the midwest stomping the west coast, but i know there's faster cars out there. heck id even like to see okc vs cleveland/cbus. to me though the races i watched in that video were crappy, none of the cali cars hooked and/or stayed in it

The AV Boys and Donnie both yanked tire but got into the dirt. It was a VERY narrow two lane road. The AV Boys had to cage the car for the show and didn't get a chance to make test hits, found out the hard way the car yanks right. Not bad for a SBF T5 car..

You wont hook 800 to 2000 hp on an un-prepped surface evvvverytime. Even with those huge tires they use.

1/8th mile exists for competitions sake. Spin and you usually lose and have no chance to recover. Plus that nova prob traps at least 155 in the 8th. Why would they run that out on the street?

No matter what the OKC guys get it down the road. Remind you they tested about a million times on the streets, and guarantee they have computers or boxes and ramp in the timing at certain intervals. You think there putting 2k horse down at the hit? Hell no, they know what there doing. But the AV boys Stang is still one of my favorites to watch I love that car.

Cali brought what they wanted. They had time. But I did here one car that was suppose to come had issues. They all got to prep. They all ran full tilt. No ones issues if your car can't go straight.

Plus I think some don't realize how fast the okc cars are. Murder nova went 6.8s in the 1/4 few years back.

Since he ran a 4.7 1/8 mile, he's running 6.8s in the quarter mile?
