02 Camaro SS vs Couple Coyotes Last night couple of us went to the track and couple friends from out of town came down with their coyotes to run them. Ive never ran a coyote with my car before so i was curious to see how it would do so followed them out on the freeway when they were heading home and decided to play with them.
first race is against a 2013 5.0 had e/t streets, Off road X pipe and a tune couldnt get a clean run with him he kept missing a gear, in the video this is from a 25ish roll, I jumped he missed a gear. Before this raced we did a 40ish roll and i jump about a half a car and he missed a gear again so we never got a good run. this car went 12.4@113 Tonight
2nd race is a 2013 5.0 Track Pack on street tires and muffler delete? lol we also did a 25ish roll i missed 4th gear
i think the clutch was getting hot cus it had a hard time getting into gear even after the race for a bit then went back to normal) he was gaining on me really slowly, idk if i could of held him off the whole time if i wouldnt of missed 4th but im pretty sure he wouldnt of been too far ahead of me if he would of passed me. this car went 13.2@111mph
My car is a Stock 02 SLP SS 345hp car so it has SLP Dual Dual catback and Slp lid, has founders lca's and 275 proxee tq's other then the tires and lca's its pretty much stock.
Fun night have a lot of respect for the new 5.0..

I took it too the track got 2 runs in (opening day was crazy packed) first run the machine was broken so Idk what it ran 2nd run I bogged the car then wouldn't go into 4th again so I coasted still went 13.4@99mph with a 2.1 60ft lol should have a 12 sec pass in it once I get the 60ft down and make a complete pass lol

Yea that's what I was thinking too last year I ran the car when I first got it, going from a honda to the camaro was a big difference I had to get used to the 6speed too so I was shifting slow and baby-ing the car off the line it went 13.3@107 with a shitty 2.1 60 again lol now I'm a lot more comfortable in the car so I think I should be able to break into the 12s. The mph is there just need some more seat time at the track
