His was just stock hence the short shifting. Not saying I should be all that proud or anything but it wasn't close. Mine has a gen 1 396 stroker,dart heads, mechanical roller , 350th, 3.42 gear, 3800 stall. The car is just about brand new except for interior which is getting done this winter. 3 years in the build. Protourfbody suspension, afco racing chassis parts. Stock replacement brakes. Moog steering components.

Lol. I agree with you guys, but i was the one called out. Thats the whole reason i went 2nd gen so i would get picked on. I usually race at track but he wouldnt. I just keep my mouth shut and when asked i accept. I mostly race trailer queens at local track. I was expecting to race a built fox until about 3 days before race. I actually know nothing about other car so i am going with stock. Anyways thats my defense.
As for power im not sure but i made a 97 mph 1/8 pass at 3776lbs last year. It's all motor 93 pump gas.
Btw when i bought the car my 3800 lesabre out ran it, so im allowed a few revenge puppy kicks..lol

Thanks guys! Gonna try to get back to track this weekend. Rained last. Forgot to mention that i did all the susp/chassis in jan. also only had one pass with slicks in which i eclipsed 100, but didnt back it up(in march). Tranny broke and im just now getting back together, those were first three runs in it since 3800 stall. I also have slicks now too. If you didnt notice i was spinning in first run. you can see it jump out if you watch bottom right corner. spun in second too, but not third. Put some track runs in signature. Three different tracks last year and gonna hit qtr this year to get in 11 sec club. Hope to get 6's in 1/8 but im pretty sure i got that. I've seriously improved traction since last year and i ran a 1.77 60' on 400 treadwear street radials(with 2200 stall). One question i do have is how to set the suspension. I have comp rear leafs with spherical bushings in front eyes and the hangers set in bottom (taller ride) hole. I have front set to extra firm and rear set to firm. Should i soften the rear some. It handles great and hooks better from a roll but i havent done much dig bc with street rads its useless to try with 1600 more stall.

Set the fronts to full soft & rears to full stiff and it will launch the best at the track. I would also try dropping the ride height in the rear.
