Does a C7Z ever win a race? I seem to always see them losing.

I really just thought it was admirable for it to keep up as well as it did. Especially up top where you can definitely see the zo6's aero start holding it back. They were still really close at 150mph and that is where the M6 shines. I honestly expected the M6 to walk the zo6 the whole race, but the c7 was winning until the very last bit

Idk giving the weight difference It looked like a good run. Even though the M did trap 8 mph more.

Looks about right for the Z06 being 700lbs lighter and down a 100whp. A headers/untuned C7 Z is a ~610whp car.

I'd like to see them run again with the Z06 tuned on E85/race gas.

That BMW is on 109 race gas. You know what happens when you run race gas! I bet it has substantially more torque then the horsepower listed.

You and me both. I've been a 3 time BMW owner for the last 13 years... NEVER AGAIN. I don't even care if they get more reliable... I'm through with them on principle.

How come? I Have a buddy that had a m3 and just talked on how things would just go bad and were expensive to fix, ended up getting a terminator and couldn't be happier lol, what's your experience ?

I had an 02 M3 and had a motor with a build date where almost all of them spun rod bearings. Then i had an 06 X5 that the trans went out in at 90k. Now I have a AWD 3 series that has the same crap trans as the X5 and the programming on it really sux. Jerks you like crazy on downshifts, and upshifts and downshifts at the weirdest times. , all the tabs that let you adjust the ac vents have fallen of. It leaks coolant, has all kinds of random electrical bugs. The suspension is the shittiest thing ever. You hit a slight bump and you really think it might have been a curb you just ramped inistead. The seats are god awfully uncomfortable. My rear hurts even with a pillow after 2 hours in the car. Etc. Etc.

I've been in his m3 and the ride was worse than my 2000 formula, but Beamer dudes swear up and down that it's all around better quality lol, and you're lucky your trans lasted that long my buddies only lasted till 54k then he needed a full rebuild, I thought my car fell apart until he told me his problems and he spent like $15,000 more on his car than I did on mine so I'm not even mad lol

If both had a warranty, I'd take the M6 every day. Better service, nicer cars.
Out of warranty, **** the M6.
