so you are trying to say that the V didn't have any pulley or supercharger upgrades? Seriously?? That V should have had its *** handed to it from the fbody. Unless that fbody was built horribly wrong at least. And why the hell would someone do cat delete/ported TB/and cold air intake without upping the boost??

Awesome example of a terrible running 408.

Damn good runs. The V is basically stock guys. A ported tb and cat delete is not much of a mod lol. My v wagon has airaid cold air intake, and exhaust. I would not think about racing it without pulleys, and a tune at the very least.

Nope, none yet. I have a 2.5 upper pulley and a shorter belt ready to go on. Car is in the stock calibration with torque management turned off and the P0420/P0430 codes disabled and it'll be tuned immediately after the upper pulley install.

It needs an intake and a throttle body ASAP. It's making 440rwhp through a terribly inefficient drivetrain still - TH400, 4000 Stall, Strange S60 Rear. It's on a stock throttle body and LS6 manifold. Fix that and it'll probably pick up 30-50rwhp.

It don't look like it's running very well for a 408. So I would think changes are needed.

Good runs man!

I do have to say I was pretty disappointed in that T/A though......it should have raped him from a dig.

Most 408's I see are nitrous cars, but should still make ~500whp NA. suggest to him the new MSD intake. From what I've seen the're both cheaper than the FAST and yield better gains.

Don't worry man..once you get your intake setup right I bet you'll gain a nice amount.

I think you did great with the exhaust swap gaining 40/30.
