Default Cammed LS3 vs Procharged SRT Charger and CTS-V

From the other night when I went to a different Mexico than usual, just some friendly runs, the SRT is a 6.4L with a procharger on it and exhaust, it makes about 650. The CTS-V is double pullied with some other bolt ons, running 16lbs, at 12lbs he made 620.

At 477 rwhp I'm surprised you are pulling 600-650 rwhp cars that hard despite the, weight difference! Nice job

I think it makes more, probably not a whole more but, I had a pretty bad tune at the time. Retuned by Pat G and the car runs much harder, just don't have any numbers on it.

That's what I was thinking too. He's pulling like he has a 75-100hp shot on it (not accusing). Gotta love a nice running setup!

All thanks to Pat G, he's the man. Gonna throw on a 150-200 shot here shortly and see how it runs then.

650 rwhp seems really high for a stock piston 6.4 hemi. Most are around the mid 550 -600 rwhp mark to stay safe. As always great vids man love them !

That V2 isn't making 620rwhp at 12lbs with just bolt ons, just not happening unless it has a cam, headers etc or running E85.

Do you know who the owner was? Your car runs pretty damn strong!

Yeah, he's not on here though, this was his message to me "Lingenfelter Upper pulley, lower pulley, and intake tube. K&N drop in with modded factory air box. 160 thermostat. Solid s/c isolator. Ligenfelter modded LS9 injectors and a tune. Dyno'd at 12lbs at 620 and now running on 16lbs with no dyno numbers"

I need to hit up that dyno lol. Sounds like he was upper only at 12# (which is about right) with an intake tube for power mods. That is a 530-540ish rwhp setup on all V's across the board. On 16# with no exhaust mods that would be 580ish rwhp but most don't run upper and lowers with stock cats.

No one is making even 600rwhp with those mods unless they are running a heavy alcohol content e85 mix flex fuel setup in which his injectors wouldn't support.

Not with a 2.5 upper and intake as the only power mods. Ain't happening unless its a happy dyno and a strong E85 mix with cat deletes. This car is claiming 620rwhp on 12# with pullies and intake on 93, not happening, that is a 540rwhp setup all day every day.

Good runs......but why start at 3600 rpm. Get that bitch in a gear where it's ditting @ 5k or a little more. Instant on then.

If they complain about you starting at a higher RPM than them, then you must be racing a bunch of 16 y/o females haha.

Your car pulls hard as **** man.

Thanks man, but it was his sweet spot and that would've been too high for first, I knew I was going to reel him in either way just wasn't expecting him to go on 1 1/2
