Hopefully it killed the racer and not the random driver. Dumbasses in their 17 second cars

It's surprising that this was fatal and that mall cop intersection-collision wasn't. That guy was going way faster.

i suppose it has to be because of the types of cars involved?

I don't know if I actually want to watch this video. I won't speak ill of the dead here but will say that every time I go out to the track of run someone I say a little prayer. I'm not a religious person but I guess it doesn't hurt

From the looks of it the racers had the green light. Seems it was a total **** up from the person that drove into the intersection.

Agreed Hio, I saw the same thing.
Regardless, still a bad place to race.

All them people standing around, and not one had the common sense to look for on coming traffic?... Green light or not, at the speed he was going, you'd have to be an idiot to not realize he isn't stopping. Wow is all I can say. But with the type of cars racing, I'm not surprised really. Sad **** for sure.

Even if they hadn't been racing, but just taken off with a bit of speed, that red light runner was an accident just waiting to happen & would've smashed into or been smashed into by what ever car that had left the lights promptly.

The other crash, iirc the TA hit the mall cop at an angle from the passenger front fender. This one was right into the passenger side. The TA was also trying to avoid the guy, so while he was going faster, much of his momentum was angled away from the car as he hit it. Not as much between the driver and the car that hit him in this case to take any of the brunt of the collision, and absolutely every bit of his momentum was thrown right at the driver. That along with the cars as you said. The other car might have had better safety features.

Gotta keep the racing on the track because this happens too many times. Hopegully it was the racers that took the worse of it.

This had nothing to do with racing and everything to do with a guy trying to blast through a red light at 80mph. Not saying it was a good idea of course.

That's what I said... All them people and not one noticed that car coming? It's just hard to believe that such a simple thing could be ignored. Always double check if your going to do some **** like that. Green light or not, it can literally save lives.

Agreed.

Agreed but because of the street racing, it can very well become their fault vs the other drivers.
