Yeah I was shocked I hung in there as good as I did. He ran a 14.6 at the track as compared to my 15.2 (6700 DA). So I figured I'd he'd walk me pretty easy. Guess you never know what can happen on the street

40 mph kinda sucks for M6 2004 GTO. You have to start in 2nd, because first redlines at 43mph, and shift almost right away at 62mph. He started in third at 40 for some reason, which is why his pulled sucked. Tell him to start in second next time.

40 rolls are **** for my car too. It's right in between 2nd and 3rd. I do better from a 35 (much rather have had a dig but you take what you get)

He'd be starting at like 2,700 RPM at the bottom of 3rd, so he was far worse off than you. But he probably knew he didn't need to start in second. Plus you have an AT, so you just sit there. Lol.

I want to be driving the Goat...that purple was awesome, minus the fact it was never available on 6.ohs, and you had to have purple guts too. Good run. I'll say it right now, even though he had just backed off the throttle as you had hit it (not your fault, didn't seem intentional), I was laughing at this post. Thought you'd be slaughtered, even by an LS1 GTO. Nice run man, you hung in there.

My buddy's wife has one the same year, same color. And she has only put like 12k miles on it in 7yrs or so year. She has a 17 of TSWs on it. I'll try and get him to post a pic of it.
But I thought it was going to be a slaughter myself too. This car keeps surprising me for a 6.

I'm not seeing it quite as favorable as others. He started late and was in a dead spot and still came around pretty hard. Had he not botched 4th and it kept going it was gonna get ugly at 110+. A passenger delete would have helped but I wouldn't really say that was close. Nice daytime vid though.

I'm going to try and get a dig run set up with equal number of passengers. Either 1 and 1 or just us (prefer 1 and 1 so there's video). Sadly. Where we hit it was right by the DPS office

Good run.

Im not gonna say the goats a "bad" running car, but at sea level, both cars would be about a second quicker. Which would put him at 13.6. My tune only a4 car ran faster than that with a da of 800 feet and no traction.

Maybe he just sucks at driving. Idk. But it's a drivers race between him and a bolt 3.7 Mustang. The mustang has long tubes, throttle body, 4.10s, and a tune. He lost by a 1/2 car-car to the Shelby GT I raced. Kinda sad when 6cyls are keeping up with these tuned/bolt-on V8s

I actually hear a lot more good about the Hyundai 5.0 than the Ford 5.0

If they weren't so damn heavy, they'd be pretty good contenders. They put out like 427hp

He definitely sucks at driving. Not surprised he lost to those cars. He was easily in the wrong gear here. I cringe watching M6 cars with A4 drivers.

I also cringe watching most guys with an auto trying to roll race.
